As we launch into the new year, we are keeping a close eye on the current conflict between China and Taiwan. Of course, we usually wouldn’t be updating you about world tensions, but China and Taiwan are a huge deal in the world of technology. We rely on Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to produce the large majority of the chips in our electronics. In fact, TSMC manufactures about 90% of the world’s most advanced microchips.

This means that if China chooses to invade or block Taiwan and trade comes to a halt, we would struggle to find the computers and electronics your business needs in order to function. We will continue to monitor the situation and adapt as we see fit.
